Firearm approval license board established

A firearm license approval board has been established, in keeping with a recommendation made in the report of the disciplined services commission.
Home affairs minister, Clement Rohee noted that the board became effective on January 1.
Minister Rohee explained that persons will have to apply to the divisional commander, who along with other departments within the force, will process the application.
The members of the firearm license approval board are peter de Groot, Cecil Kilkenny and Byroe Harry. They will serve for a period of one year.
