84 ranks added to the Guyana fire services

The human capacity of the Guyana fire service has been further boosted with an additional eighty four ranks adding to the full compliments of fire fighters.
Home affairs minister Clement Rohee says this is very important since they are now expanding their services nationwide, their also hiring auxiliary staff to assist the professional fire fighters.
In November of 2011 the Guyana fire service received a fleet of vehicle along with other equipment to the tune of ninety two million dollars,
This home affairs minister said is an expression of the administration’s commitment to ensuring that the joint services are fully mobilized to carry out its mandate of saving lives and safeguarding property.
