Christians in Guyana and the rest of the world will on Wednesday December 12, 2012 Celebrate the King, reflecting on divine promises on the Nation.

Bishop Juan Edghill says 12.12.12, is a Biblical significance that speaks about governmental perfection.

“I think that this is a good time for us to reflect that having done all that man can do if we are going to have perfection in government that element of acknowledgement of god… God’s help is important and I believe at this time the God fearing people of this nation despite of their religion persuasion believe that it is time for a divine intervention in our nation to move us into the next level” Bishop Edghill said.

Bishop Edghill said the occasion is a rare one, as he pointed out activities that are planned to observe the event. The Christian community in recognizing the biblical significance will be celebrating this auspicious occasion with an evening of worship.

The Bishop said that the event will take place on Wednesday evening at the Winners Cathedral at Durban Street, Lodge we will be bringing together top local artistes from across the country for an evening of praise and worship and thanksgiving this is going to be an open event.

Bishop Edghill noted that the Christian community is looking forward to the prophetic significance for a divine intervention.
