All 17 Carib Soca monarch semi–finalists have advanced to the finals, following Saturday night’s semi-final round in Berbice.

Due to the inclement weather which interrupted the competitors’ performances, judges were forced to send through all contestants to the final leg of the competition.

Soca Monarch Coordinator, Nigel Worrell (Soca Fox) said since there was no judging for the semi-finals, the judging will intensify for the finals.

The Carib Soca Monarch Finals is slated for February 16, at the National Park.
