Deepening relations between Guyana and Suriname will be the focused of the new Surinamese Ambassador to Guyana, Nisha Kurban Baboe.

While presenting her Letters of Credence to President Donald Ramotar at the Office of the President today, the newly accredited Dutch Diplomat described cooperation between the two countries as longstanding.

President Donald Ramotar says both countries are committed to ensuring the good neighbourly relations are preserved. Her Excellency Nisha Baboe succeeds her Predecssor Dr. Manorma Soeknandan.
