The Ministry of Labour and Manpower Planning, through the Board of Industrial Training (BIT), will host the National Youth Skills Forum and Skills Search Expo 2026 on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The event will bring together government representatives, employers, educators, training institutions, industry leaders and young people to examine the skills needed to support Guyana's expanding economy and strengthen collaboration between the country

GUYANA’S estimated population has surpassed the one-million mark for the first time, reflecting the country’s continued demographic growth and underscoring the need for sustained investment in housing, healthcare, education and employment opportunities.
